    A friend of mine wrote this ( くらむ ) a while ago and I could not find a releveant meaning, the exact translation gives

    1: to be dazzled by; to be dizzied by; to be disoriented by;
    2: to be lost in (greed, lust, etc.);
    3: (Archaism) to become dark

    It was written though as a some kind of greeting, so I wondered if it has a further meaning as a phrase, or did my friend just misspell it?

    Your name suggests you're Swedish, maybe he/she wanted to be funny and write "kram" in japanese?

    I can't think of a better explanation. I wonder why it was written in hiragana, though - one would expect katakana in such a situation. Unless, of course, bleknad's friend just enjoys breaking the rules ;)

    ah okey haha, I suppose that's probably would be it. I didn't think about that it might the pronounciation of a Swedish word since it was written in hiragana and not katakana which would have felt more natural, which roro also suggested. I would have expected better of my friend ;)

    Thanx a lot !
