An arcane kanji meaning arcane..
  • KyuzoKyuzo August 2010

秘儀的 is almost impossible get a confirmed pronounciation for.
Even on Jim Breen's JDIC there is a 【?】as for kana reading of it!
According to furiganizer though, it reads [ひぎてき].
By the looks of it, it's a -na adjective and a good equivalent in English for it would be 'arcane', a most befitting word..
I am looking forward to your contribution on this kanjiplex!

It's indeed pronounced ひぎてき. 秘儀 means a ceremony which is executed in secret, so I guess arcane is a decent translation.

It is added, just search for 秘儀. -的 is technically a suffix and can be affixed to pretty much any noun to make it into an adjective, it's therefore rare that words ending in -teki get their own entries.
