    I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good Japanese drama / comedy to purchase on DVD in the UK?

    Densha Otoko, the comedy series is REALLY good.

    Boys Over Flowers (花より男子, Hana yori Dango) and Gokusen! :P I've heard that Kimi wa petto is good as well.
    (But I don't know if they have been translated)

    ご注意ください Take care:

    男子 is usually read as "danshi", but is read as "dango" in this manga/anime series. However, there is a parody of it called Hana Yori Danshi (not sure how or even if they write it in kanji).

    If you're shopping for this title, make sure you get the right one.
