Need help with my grammar

    Hajimemashite,
    Hey guys, this is my first post and I look forward to talking to you guys.
    Maybe you can help me,

    I need to say: Of course that idiot couldn't buy the tickets after all.

    I've ran it down to either:

    Yappari, ano baka ga chiketto o kaenakatta OR
    Yappari, chiketto o kaenakatta. Ano baka.

    Sorry for writing in Romaji. I havn't really put an effort into learning Kanji.
    Maybe you can correct me as how to say this, or which sentence is more correct?

    As far as I know both sentences are correct. It just depends which part you want to emphasize/how you want to say the sentence. It's like comparing 'Of course that idiot couldn't buy the tickets after all' to 'Of course he couldn't buy the tickets after all. That idiot.'

    やっぱり、チケットを買えなかった。あの馬鹿。

    Much more beautiful than romaji ^^

    You probably want to use "wa (は)" in the first sentence instead of "ga."

    Somehow "ano baka" without a noun after it doesn't sound that natural to me though some people use it. (Granted, I don't hang around school kids so maybe people use it like this all the time and I'm just missing out. I'm also in Osaka, where they use "aho" more.) Am I the only one who feels this way? Personally I would replace the "ano baka" in the first sentence with "aitsu" or "ano bakamono." In the second sentence just "baaaka" (no "ano").
