From the first word in the results:
"3: supply of provisions, refreshments, etc. to someone carrying out a task"

I am unfamiliar with the Japanese word, but refreshments can be considered snacks in English.

Stupidquestions's analysis makes sense to me. There's not a super exact 1 to 1 relationship between words in English and Japanese (since the two don't belong to the same language family).
It can be frustrating, but you have to start thinking very generally. Try looking up the word "respect" and you'll get a buttload of words. Each one is used in a different sense.
For example to "look up" to someone. Or to "pay respect" to fallen soldiers, or to "respect" someone's rights. If you hang out with Japanese people who are studying English
they'll start asking you about words that are similar in English. Like what is the difference between "endure" and "put up with" and "deal with." If you're using dictionaries they
might all lead to the same Japanese word. Oh yeah, I just remembered, even　みる can be translated as "see," "watch," and "look at." I get asked about that one all the time.

Since we have "refreshment" in that list of definitions, we at least have something food related to latch on to :^)
