I'm trying to say "Name, will be killed" I was going to say shinimasu but I want to emphasise that the person's death is passive and not an active thing, so how do i go about this?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I think naku narimasu is a good choice.
To kill is 殺す(ころす), of which the passive form (to be killed) is 殺される.
So you could say "(name)は殺される".

Remember that 殺される means to be murdered though, or rather, it only works if someone is being killed by something living. You wouldn't use 殺される in a situation like, for example, "He was killed by the explosion" unless the explosion was triggered by a human with the intent of killing.

Good point, thanks.
