    Here's the whole thing -
    雨が降っている夜には、できるだけ運転しない方がいい。事故を起こすおそれがある。
I would translate as, "It's raining tonight, so much so that it would be better not to drive. You'd cause an accident." Not sure about that last part.

    That looks pretty good.
    Here's my suggested translation:
'It's best to avoid driving on rainy nights. You might cause an accident.'
Remember you'd have to use '今夜' for tonight, so this is talking about rainy nights in general. 'Dekiru dake' means 'as much as possible', but seems a bit redundant in English, or maybe it would be better to translate as 'It's best to avoid driving on rainy nights if you can'. Still, I prefer the version without 'if you can'. The 'osore ga aru' means literally 'there's a fear', and is used when there's a possibility something bad might happen. Pretty similar to the English expression 'I'm afraid (something) might happen'.

Richards translation is perfect. Another version of the last sentence which is more literal but sounds worse in English is: "There's a risk you'll cause an accident".

Thank you guys.今夜, of course, I have to pay more attention to details. Also I'll have to make a mnemonic for that phrase おそれがある.
The sentence is JLPT 3 by the way. I don't want to take the exam, but I'm using some example sentences for my SRS.

as it is raining tonight its best not to drive at all i am afraid you might get into an accident osore = livelihood or possibility dekiru dake = if possible,if circumstances allow one not to drive at all for it might lead to trouble please try not to drive well of course since its raining and one knows its kind of dangerous in other words try your best not to do something that you might run into trouble if you do so
