Hi, I'm new here, but I'd like to ask a favour from everyone, I'm going on student exchange in the summer, november. I have to write a letter in japanese to potential host families, but I'm not sure if the grammar or sentence structure is correct. I'm pretty sure some of the sentences don't make sense or sound weird or maybe even offensive. also I'm hearing myself write ホストファミリーのみんなさん a lot. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me :)
There are a few little mistakes here and there, but I think it's fine. You don't want to give the impression your Japanese is perfect if it isn't. It doesn't really affect the understanding. On the tone, I'd just lose the よ at the end of the first paragraph. It's not a big deal, but I think it's best to start off a little formal. Good luck in Japan.
