reading of Japanese names

    I'm looking for a website where I can look up the reading of Japanese (personal) names. Since the reading of names follows special rules this would be very helpful. Anybody knows such a site? Arigato! Marie

    www.jisho.org ;)

    You can change what dictionary you're searching in. Change it to "Names and Places" and there you go!

    That is SO helpful! I've been looking for a site where I can search for names containing a certain character. :D

    There a loads of Japanese name sites. I either use online dictionaries like Jim Breens www dict for translation of single kanjis or use an indexed Japanese names name list like http://japanese-names.blogspot.com
