あまり
  • I'd like a confirmation about the use of あまり .
I see that you can use あまり with a noun, verb or noun adjective without the -な particle.
It also seems you don't use it with a -い adjective and you either use something like とても or use the nominal form like 暑い->暑さ.
Is that assumption correct about the verbal adjective?
  • あまり is used when you have a negative sentence. とても is used when you have a affirmative sentence.

    examples:
    お菓子はあまり高いじゃないね?
    お菓子はとても高いだろう?。
  • I would like to say that when you use 高い (takai) in negative form, you should use 高くない(takakunai) instead of 高いじゃない (takaijanai)。
  • Guess what,
I clean toilet bowl and toilet floor with Japanese people's faces!
Sincet toilet papers are so expensive nowadays, I use Japanese people's faces to clean restroom.
After cleaning, I flush the crap out of them in the toilet bowl.
