Denshi Jisho: Why Denshi Jisho is not updating?

    I like a lot this dictionary but I miss that EDICT DB is not updated on this server, so there are words that are not in this dictionary but in wwwjdic exists. It would be nice that sometimes the version that uses Denshi Jisho be updated.

    BTW, Congratulations for this dictionary, for me is the most usable on the net.

    Denshi Jisho updates with the latest Edict version every day. Although I have noticed some differences between Denshi Jisho and WWWJDIC, but I think those are due to differences between Edict and JMdict.

    Would you mind telling me what words you are not seeing on Denshi Jisho? So I can look into if it's an actual bug.

    機首 is one of them, I don't remember the others.

    Denshi Jisho is generally slightly behind WWWJDIC. This is because the WWWJDIC servers run the unedited data files that include recent amendments and new entries that hasn't been merged into the public data file yet.
