I am writing a story for japanese, in japanese, about a girl who lived in 2008, and we're in 2210, so i'm writing about the past.

My treacher told us to use sentence structures,

I know a few, but it would be nice if i could get some more, seeing as i have forgotten some of them.

Just to show you what i mean.

I have used nagara, which is used in the sentence by dropping masu of a word (so using the stem) this means while.
tabe nagara terebi o mimasu - while eating i watch television.

i also know teimasu and plenty of other te ones.

So if someone could help me out, it would be great.

    Thanks in advance.
